Abstract
Treatment of Maxillary Skeletal Hypoplasia. Is there only one way?
Around 50% of my patients are adults. An elevated percentage of these adult patients who come to our practice have a severe malocclusion. Around 30% of these patients have a maxillary skeletal hypoplasia. We have 2 options for treating these patients: only orthodontics or to perform a surgical approach. In this conference, I am going to present a group of adult patients, all of whom have maxillary hypoplasia by treating all of them with different options but focusing the attention on the use of 3D technology to develop a bone supported customized expansion and surgical guides to develop different treatments.
